Last night we went to our first Mystery Theatre evening..The storyline took place in Las Vegas and was complete with Elvis, showgirl, limo driver,casino dealer, pawn shop owner, car dealer and a has been card shark. .It was great fun and even though our table did not win the prize for figuring out who and why the murder took place, we spent a lot of time sleuthing from the clues given us. After all the clues were given out we were served our dinner giving us time to share ideas and thoughts  on who and why. There were 8 of us at the table and two couples were real pros at mystery theaters. They took notes constantly. Later I learned why. 

The meal consisted of salad, baked chicken with smashed potatoes and gravy and a veggie followed by dessert. It was not fancy but very good and we enjoyed it. It was a BYOB night so we enjoyed our wine along with dinner and the mystery.

After dinner and after a lot of questions asked by the audience and a lot of fun door prizes the mystery was solved by the table behind us. And no, the butler didn't do it.
