COUNTING DOWN TO WEDDING DAY

Today was a busy day. Started out with a nice Sunday breakfast of bacon, eggs, grits and English muffin then a nice long walk with my daughter and Marshal.
At the peak of the walk we came across a huge yard sale and I found a wicker set for my lanai, park bench for my garden and some miscellaneous pieces for my art work. Good thing I had my cell phone with me so I could call Bob to come with the check book and the car to haul everything home. Took two trips but the furniture looks great. Even with the ugly cushions and the park bench will be a nice addition to my garden as soon as Bob paints the wooden parts.

After we got home and relaxed a bit we got started making the appetizers. We have 8 different ones for the buffet table so everyone will have a nice choice. Tuesday, after the table is set I will get photos of the things we made and post them in my blog. I had a great time cooking and fixing with my daughter but tonight my body says sit and relax. So that is what I am going to do the remainder of the night.
I swear Darlene, your life is super interesting and fun. You found treasures unexpectedly and had the support to come pay for and collect it! Great seeing pictures of your daughter! I beginning to feel excited about the wedding and anticipating the dresses, flowers, and food that you have blogged about. Cheers!
