THE WEDDING

Steph and Soner
The wedding was beautiful but the weather was iffy right up until the time we had to drive to the "Treaty Oak" for the ceremony. It sprinkled on us on the way there but as soon as we arrived it stopped, the sun peeked through the overcast day for long enough to get the wedding vows said and the rings in place.  This is the wedding dress my daughter Debbie has been making over the last 6 months. Isn't she beautiful in it!

Pictures followed and we managed to get several family photo before it started again. The wedding party departed to take a ride on the skytrain and an interview by the local TV station during the ride. This was arranged by my grandson who 'knew' somebody.

They had a professional photographer who took over 1000 photos some of which were taken back at the tree after the sun came out. I have not seen them but from what I hear they are suburb. Stephanie is a photographer so was very particular who did her wedding pictures.

While this was happening everyone else went back to the reception area for appetizers, drinks, relaxing and a little visiting before the wedding party and bride and groom arrived a bit later.

Appetizers

Caprese sticks

Prosciutto wrapped dates

Mozzarella sticks wrapped in various hard sausages

Apricots stuffed with blue cheese and walnuts

Cheese plate

Sweet and hot nuts
Dinner was a buffet and after a champagne  toast to the bride and groom the dancing began.

I don't have any good photos of the guest. All the photos I have were taken with my cell phone or sent to me by my son. Here are some I have that my son Brian send to me.
Stephanie and Soner with Grandpa and grandma (me) and her Uncle Brian (my oldest son)
Cassie, Barry (Steph's dad) Brian and Debbie
our four children
Brian, Steph, Soner
Stacie, Amanda, & Liz (Steph's sisters) with Brian

One last photo. More later when I get them.
